Dynamics 365 F&O Developer (X++)

Location: Toronto, ON

Responsibilities

As a Dynamics 365 F&O, X++ Developer, you will focus on building and enhancing our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) platform. You will work on a variety of projects that challenge your skills and allow you to collaborate with different teams. Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing, customizing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
* Translating business requirements into effective technical designs in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders.
* Writing clean, efficient code using the X++ programming language, with a focus on performance and scalability.
* Debugging, testing, and tuning customizations and extensions to ensure optimal functionality.
* Integrating D365 F&O with other systems using industry-standard techniques.
* Participating in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.
* Documenting your work for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

* To excel in this role, you should bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing solutions for D365 F&O.
* Proficiency in X++ programming language and familiarity with other related technologies like SSRS, Power BI, C#, and SQL.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest developments in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Nice-to-Have

* The following would add value to your application:
* Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 F&O (e.g., MB-300, MB-310).
* Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies like Azure and Power Platform.
* Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
* Familiarity with the entertainment or other fast-paced industries.
