Microsoft Practice Lead - Azure, Bizz App, Security, Infrastructure
Location: New York, NY
Duration: Long Term - Contract
Salary: $130k
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage Microsoft partner practice, including incentive programs, channel, and pricing.
* Provide technical leadership in designing solutions based on Microsoft technologies such as Azure, security, business apps, and infrastructure.
* Assess client needs and recommend suitable Microsoft technologies and platforms.
* Define service offerings, methodologies, and best practices for Microsoft technologies.
* Build and maintain relationships with Microsoft PDMs and commercial teams.
* Lead the delivery of Microsoft commercial marketplace transactions and lead generation efforts.
* Ensure successful project delivery, including planning, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Business Development to support Microsoft marketplace marketing needs.
* Develop and deliver high-quality, compliant, and responsive bids, including technical architecture.
* Communicate regularly with the team and key stakeholders on project status and updates.
* Stay informed about the latest Microsoft technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies (Cloud, Security, Business Applications, Infrastructure).
* Exposure to Microsoft Business Applications and Modern Workplace (D365 CRM/ERP & Office 365 SharePoint, Power Platform).
* Practical knowledge of partner special programs, distribution channels, and pricing programs.
* Experience in presales, solutioning, RFI/RFP response, and negotiation.
* Resilient with a growth mindset; able to lead strategic and value messaging conversations.
* Hands-on experience in a consulting organization.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines across multiple time zones with minimal supervision.
* High-level collaboration skills; able to work on multiple teams in complex environments.
* Experience in proposal development and technical architecting.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
* Experience in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, or technical pre-sales.
