    A rapidly-growing retail organisation based in Peterborough are looking for a Database Administrator to join their team, and take ownership of the maintenance and ongoing development of their data estate.

    Joining their expanding Data & Insights team, this role will be fully office-based in keeping with their highly collaborative and close-knit culture. They often go out for office socials, and there's a great team spirit running throughout the organisation.

    They have identified data as being absolutely critical to their growth strategy, and there is a huge amount of growth potential both in this role and the wider team. They've recently built a brand-new Snowflake data warehouse to centralise their data, and are striving to automate reporting wherever possible to enhance business decision-making.

    In this role, you'll use your SQL skills to maintain their databases though typical Database Administration duties including performing back-ups, disaster recovery planning, performance optimisation and security. You will also use an ETL tool called Rivery to build data pipelines to get data into their data warehouse, though prior experience with Rivery is not required.

    Ultimately, you will look to make improvements wherever possible, and will ensure that the data is as clean, accurate and secure as possible, so that the Analysts in the wider team can access this easily to create their reports. You will take real ownership of this from a technical perspective.
