The organization are looking to undertake a transformation that will overhaul all both the data and the analytics functions of the business. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and get the opportunity to work with some of the latest technology in the Data space.



The successful candidate for this Data Engineer role will be expected to come with strong experience leading the direction of an organizations data architecture, as well as the building of ETL pipelines, integration of data sources, and scalable data systems.



Essential Experience:

* ETL pipelines (design, development and optimisation)
* Data tools such as: Snowflake, FiveTran, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, and any other relevant tools
* SQL
* dbt



This is a permanent position, based in the organizations Dallas offices, with a hybrid work policy that requires 3 days per week on site.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in SQL and programming (Python or PHP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL processes, data loading, and management, with proficiency in PgAdmin, Toad, or DataGrip.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and manage ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
* Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
* Develop scripts in Python or PHP for data manipulation and analysis.
* Utilize PgAdmin, Toad, or DataGrip for database management and performance tuning.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide insights.
* Maintain documentation of data processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on SQL and ETL processes.
* Proficiency in Python or PHP for data analysis and automation.
* Familiarity with PgAdmin, Toad, or DataGrip.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer for a 6-month contract opportunity based in Austin, Texas. The Client is a large player in retail.

Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL pipelines from various sources
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solution
* Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to enhance performance and scalability.
* Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Maintain high data quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
* Support data migration and integration projects as required.

Requirements:

* 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
* Strong proficiency with SQL and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
* Experience with cloud platforms - preferably AWS
* Strong Databricks & Python / Spark experience
* Excellent communication skills in English
* 2 days minimum on site



Pay Rate is flexible depending on experience level.

The organization are looking to add to a data-driven solutions team. Candidates for this role must come with a masters level degree from a field such as Data Science or similarly analytical specialism. An ability to demonstrate a deep understanding and successful track record in the Machine Learning world is essential to be successful in your application for this position. Particularly as it relates to the design, build and deployment of ML models.



Deep Learning and NLP (Natural Language Processing) are essential requirements for this position, alongside prior experience working hands-on with LLMs (Large Language Models), building advanced systems and RAG pipelines. An ability, and flexibility, of designing/implementing tailored Neural Network architectures that relate to specific situational cases. This all ties in with the organizations overall goal of solving problems and an advancement in it's Automated Intelligence capabilities.



Experience with Amazon Web Services and tools listed below are required:

* Big Data Technologies
