Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Small Consultancy in Oslo Centre

CTO of a dynamic and growing consultancy right in the heart of Oslo? We are on the lookout for an experienced leader to join our team and help us navigate the technological landscape with expertise and innovation.

As the CTO / Consulting Manager at our boutique consultancy, you will lead the technical strategy and oversee the delivery of client projects. Your role involves guiding the development team, managing key client relationships, and ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with business goals. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight, driving innovation and operational excellence in a fun environment to guide the company in the right direction based on market trends etc. This role is ideal for a versatile leader with a strong background in technology consulting, who excels at both client engagement and team management

* Experience: Minimum 7 years in the industry, with a proven track record in consulting.
* Technical Expertise: Full stack Java/Kotlin + React.
* Architectural Mastery: Strong understanding of services and databases in large systems.
* Communication Skills: Outgoing, communicative, and able to present to large groups effectively.
* Educational Aptitude: Ability to design and deliver pedagogically sound presentations and trainings.
* Hybrid Role Desire: Eager to balance consultancy with internal development, marketing, and professional responsibilities.

Additional Qualifications (Highly Desirable)

* Conference Speaker: Experience lecturing at renowned conferences like NDC/Javazone.
* Leadership Experience: Held a technical leadership position, such as CTO.
* Tech Lead/Architect: Proven experience in roles such as tech lead, architect, or similar.
* Media Presence: Featured in professional media reports.
