Solutions Architect (Pre-sales, Azure)

Job Description:

A global market-leading IT consultancy is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Solutions Architect with specialized knowledge in Microsoft Azure and extensive experience in modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have a successful history of designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions tailored to our clients' business requirements. This role demands deep technical expertise in Azure, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Architect and design Azure-based solutions that emphasize scalability, reliability, and security to meet business needs.
* Lead and manage modernization projects, including the transition of legacy systems to the Azure platform.
* Create and maintain architectural blueprints, design documents, and technical specifications.
* Work closely with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Perform architectural reviews and ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
* Interact with clients to understand their needs and offer expert advice on Azure solutions and modernization strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
* Over 5 years of experience in solutions architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
* Demonstrated success in modernization projects, including the migration of legacy systems to the cloud.
* In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
* Proficiency in creating scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures.
* Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform well under pressure.
* Azure Solutions Architect certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
