Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to be Head of their Global Automation Development and IoT organization. In this exciting role, you will drive the development and strategic direction of solutions and technologies in standard automation, connectivity, and analytics across all our business units. You will collaborate closely with industry leaders to anticipate future needs and shape a winning strategy. This role is crucial in driving our automation and IoT initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and innovation across our global operations.

This position reports into the President of a Division.



Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a global team of approximately 120 engineers and developers based in Denmark, Sweden with 5-7 direct reports.
* Develop and implement strategic plans for global automation and IoT initiatives.
* Collaborate with business units and industry leaders to ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term goals.
* Drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge automation and IoT solutions.
* Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the team.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in a senior leadership role within automation, IoT, or digital innovation in a corporate environment.
* Strong technical background with expertise in automation systems, IoT platforms, machine learning, and AI in manufacturing processes.
* Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
* Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Relevant educational background (Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, MBA, or related field). Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, PMP) are a plus.
