Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled D365 Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant to join our IT team in supporting the implementation, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for our oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the implementation of D365 Business Central for various oil and gas modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Inventory).
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations, customizations, and solutions.
* Design, configure, and customize D365 BC to meet specific business needs, ensuring best practices and alignment with the oil and gas industry.
* Provide day-to-day support for the system, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and end-user training.
* Develop integrations between D365 BC and other enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data flow and process automation.
* Document functional and technical specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
* Conduct system testing, manage upgrades, and perform data migration activities.
* Ensure system compliance with industry regulations and corporate policies.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
* Strong understanding of business processes within the oil and gas industry, including finance, procurement, inventory management, and supply chain.
* Technical proficiency in AL programming, PowerShell, and Azure cloud services.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (Business Central, Finance, or Supply Chain).
* Experience with integrations using APIs or third-party tools.
* Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., safety, environmental compliance).
