They are looking for:

Azure Data Platform Team Lead

Hybrid 2-3 days in the office

Newcastle upon Tyne

The job involves leading the team responsible for ensuring high quality data is sourced and curated in our Azure cloud platform and to ensure that this is a foundation for growth for all data, analytic and AI services.

They are looking for experience and skillset around:

* data ingestion into our Azure Data Lake,
* designing and developing data models for analytics,
* deploying Azure Logic Apps and Function Apps for process automation.
* Experience with tools like Databricks, Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, and Python
* Experience in managing and leading data team
* Excellent problem solving skills

What you'll do

* Lead and Mentor
* Architect and Design Leveraging technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python.
* Agile Delivery
* Data Integration: Design and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from various sources into Azure data services.
* DataOps Implementation
* Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
* Data Governance
* Continuous Improvement
* Manage the cost
