Vice President, Homeland Security Microsoft Accounts

Location: Washington DC/Arlington, VA - Hybrid (1-2 days onsite mostly DC)

Compensation: $225k - $250k



Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Vice President to lead our Homeland Security account in the greater Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and growing Microsoft 365 (specifically SharePoint) delivery teams and possess deep customer relationships within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This hybrid role includes billable work, account management, and business development activities. Candidates must reside in the DMV area for occasional onsite government work and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management and service delivery of Microsoft 365 solutions across Homeland Security sector customers, including SaaS/PaaS implementation, application/software development, and data analytics and visualization.
* Customer Engagement: Regularly meet with customers to ensure satisfaction, identify risks, and facilitate resolutions in collaboration with customers and direct reports.
* Business Development: Lead sales pipeline development, capture activities, and technical solution development within the Homeland Security market.
* Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain close relationships with Homeland Security clients, supporting high-quality delivery, customer relationship management, recruiting, capture, and sales efforts.
* Communication: Effectively communicate with senior managers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Government IT Contracting: Utilize knowledge of government IT contracting, acquisition trends, and federal customer buying behaviors to shape proposal criteria and develop winning proposals.

Required Qualifications:

* Experience:

* 10+ years of experience in small business management of IT delivery teams, business development, and proposal development within the Homeland Security market.
* 5+ years of experience managing and delivering Microsoft 365 implementation projects in the Federal IT market.

* Customer Relationships: Proven relationships within the Homeland Security market.
* Capture Management: Experience in capture management, including developing and submitting winning proposals.
* Technical Expertise: Domain expertise in Microsoft 365, coupled with formal management education and experience.
* DHS Knowledge: Deep understanding of DHS mission requirements and IT procurement processes.
* Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, business ethics, negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Proposal Development: Ability to shape Section L and Section M criteria to maximize scoring, with strong expertise in proposal development, including color reviews, developing win themes, and embedding value propositions.

Clearance Requirements:

* Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge, and pass a government Public Trust background investigation.
