    Data Engineer (Azure)

    A well-established organisation in Cheshire (near Handforth) are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team in this newly created role, as they look to leverage the value in their data and become truly data-driven.

    They operate flexible working hours and a hybrid working model, where you'll spend 3 days per week in their office (though this will be 5 days during your initial induction and training period).

    As the Data Engineer, you'll focus on the design and development of their data platform, and work closely with various stakeholders and the Data Lead, to ensure that data is readily accessible for use across the business.

    This will involve designing ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, to integrate data from various sources into their Azure SQL database, and developing data pipelines to ensure the efficient flow of data across systems.

    You'll ensure data is stored in the most efficient way, so that it's ready for analysis and reporting in Power BI, which will allow for informed decision-making.

    This role would be well-suited to a Data Engineer or BI Developer who's keen to join an organisation who are leveraging some of the latest Microsoft technologies, as they go through a business-wide transformation.

    Requirements

    * Prior experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or similar
    * Strong skills in SQL
    * Experience developing Azure Data Factory pipelines

    I am working with a well-known charity who are looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing technology team. You will be joining the team at a point of significant change as they have recently invested in new technologies as they look to modernise their data platform.

    In this role you will be responsible for the ingestion and transformation of data utilising a number of the organisations data sources. You will have the opportunity to work on a number of interesting projects, including the organisations upcoming data migration project. Working closely with specialists from the technology team, you will have the opportunity to become an internal SME for all things data!

    This is a largely remote opportunity where you would meet with the rest of the team once per month in the London office. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £48,000 depending on experience.
