My client is in search of a talented Senior Backend Architect to join their team in Stavanger. In this role, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the architecture design and development of a globally recognised software used by over 350 companies worldwide. Role Responsibilities:

* Collaborates with product managers and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Leads hands-on backend development, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
* Designs and manages architecture complexity for prompt value delivery, scalability, security, and reliability.
* Implements CI/CD pipelines for automating software development and deployment processes.
* Oversees the implementation of security measures to protect systems and data.
* Provides technical leadership and mentorship to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
* Stays updated with the latest trends in cloud technologies and contributes to continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Holds an M.Sc/B.Sc in computer science or software engineering.
* Has proven experience in software architecture design, development, and implementation using Azure, APIs, and .NET technologies.
* Demonstrates proficiency in Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL.
* Possesses in-depth knowledge of API development and related technologies.
* Has hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the development process.
* Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning in a cloud environment is advantageous.
* Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
