IT Development Lead

IT Development Lead - Up to £75,000 (12 month FTC)

Kidlington or Jarrow (Hybrid role)

This a great opportunity to work for a global provider of essential components and solutions. You will be joining their digital development team and helping to guide their current development team in a fast-paced agile/scrum environment. As part of this role you will manage core software development, provide hands-on support, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver digital solutions and maintain applications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise the digital development team.
* Provide hands-on coding and technical support.
* Oversee hiring and onboarding for the team.
* Contribute to product design and maintenance.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure quality.
* Support digital operations and organize sprint ceremonies.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Extensive IT development and digital delivery experience.
* Degree in computer science or related field.
* Experience with technology service providers and agile project management.
* Proficient in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, MySQL, Solr.
* Familiar with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP.
* Experience in e-commerce website development.
* Knowledge of integration with ERP software.
