Key Responsibilities:

Work with complex data sets, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis.

Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines in Azure.
*
Optimise database performance, focusing on indexing, tuning, and query optimisation.
*
Develop, deploy, and manage BI tools, creating custom visuals and dashboards to enhance user experience.
*
Provide technical expertise in data modelling, data structures, and data architecture.
*
Ensure the scalability and automation of internal data processes.
*
Write and maintain queries and scripts for ETL operations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
*
Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and data sources.
*
Document database structures and map data flows within the organisation.
*
Work within a DevOps culture, leveraging CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Key Skills & Experience:
*
Strong proficiency in SQL with a focus on performance tuning and optimisation.
*
Extensive experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
*
Knowledge of data modelling and database query best practices.
*
Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure or AWS.
*
Understanding of data structures and database tuning strategies.
*
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
*
Experience in Power BI is a plus.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
