    I am working with a Microsoft partnered managed service provider who are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join their team. The organisation are going through a period of significant growth and are working with a number of highly renowned clients to support them with their SQL Server database requirements. You will work collaboratively with a team of like-minded developers with the goal to effectively resolve all client needs within a timely manner.

    This organisation are focused on the training and development of each member of the team. You will be given the opportunity to complete funded Microsoft certifications and training courses that can help develop your skill set further. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated, specialist team with the opportunity to work on interesting projects and further develop your skills.



    As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

    * Create high quality code and queries using SQL for data extraction
    * Monitor and optimize database performance
    * Conduct reviews of current code in order to identify where improvements can be made
    * Developer new SQL Server databases in line with stakeholder/business requirements



    This is a salaried role paying up to £50,000 per year depending on experience. This is a fully remote opportunity with the opportunity to work from anywhere across the UK. There is also a company benefits packages which includes a competitive pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, paid training and certifications and mobile/broadband monthly allowance.



    To be successful in this role you will have.

    * Strong SQL/T-SQL proficiency
    * Experience working with SQL Server and other relational databases
    * Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
    * Experience with other coding languages such as C#, Python or PowerShell would be beneficial

    Role & Responsibilities

    * Designing and implementing Data warehouse and data lake solutions.
    * Ensuring all stakeholders and teams are aligned to the architectural vision.
    * Integrating data between various sources and systems including Azure SQL Data Warehouses, D365.
    * Involvement in presentations, diagrams and pre sales activities.

    Skills & Qualifications

    * MS Azure PaaS and Iaas technologies (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, CI/CD) as well as an understanding of other cloud platforms.
    * Experience architecting large scale cloud solutions.
    * Experience within D365/Dynamics environments.
    * Leadership experience would be beneficial.

    Joining their expanding Data & Insights team, this role will be fully office-based in keeping with their highly collaborative and close-knit culture. They often go out for office socials, and there's a great team spirit running throughout the organisation.

    They have identified data as being absolutely critical to their growth strategy, and there is a huge amount of growth potential both in this role and the wider team. They've recently built a brand-new Snowflake data warehouse to centralise their data, and are striving to automate reporting wherever possible.

    In this commercially-focused role, you will be using SQL to query and manipulate complex data sets, and then analyse and produce insightful visualisations in Tableau, on areas such as sales performance and marketing - please note that you don't need to have worked with Tableau before, as long as you've worked with a similar data visualisation tool e.g. Power BI or Qlik etc.

    Any experience with Google Analytics would be a huge benefit, but otherwise this is something you'd also have the opportunity to learn in this role.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Data Analyst to join an organisation where you can make a real impact from day one - they're fast-paced and ever-evolving, and there is a real appetite for the work you will be doing.

    Requirements:

    * Strong SQL scripting skills to query complex datasets
