.NET Developer for EdTech Solutions

Location: Oslo, Norway

Salary: Up to 1,050,000 NOK per year (depending on experience)

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

About the Role
Join a dynamic team dedicated to creating innovative solutions for the education sector! As a .NET Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge applications and APIs that empower students and administrators to succeed. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a product that impacts thousands of users while building creative, custom solutions on a modern tech stack.

Your Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and APIs.
* Work on REST APIs, facades, and microservices in Azure, including Back-for-Front (BFF) APIs supporting in-house applications.
* Collaborate with users to understand their needs, translate them into functional requirements, and detail user stories.
* Debug and optimize existing code, and implement new features and improvements.
* Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and thorough documentation.

Act as a technical lead, mentoring other developers and contributing to architecture decisions.

Technical Skills:

* A Bachelor's degree or higher in IT (minimum requirement).
* 4+ years of experience with .NET, particularly ASP.NET Core Web API and C#.
* Knowledge of modern cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and tools such as Cosmos DB, MSSQL Server, and React.

Social Skills & Characteristics:

* Fluency in English and at least B2-level Norwegian (you must be able to participate in meetings).
* Experience collaborating directly with users to gather feedback and define requirements.
* Enjoys working in a team-oriented, agile environment
