Position: Senior Data Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join the team!

In this role, you will take on the technical responsibility for their Data Platform and play an integral part in the Data Analytics Forum. Your expertise will drive the integration and maintenance of their data systems, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Data Integration & Management:

* Own and manage all source integrations within the data model.
* Ensure that data is loaded according to schedule, maintaining data accuracy and timeliness.

* Technical Support:

* Handle technical requests related to the Power BI service desk.
* Collaborate closely with the Fabric/Power BI developer to support backend-related tasks.

* Quality & Governance:

* Oversee the quality and governance of the Fabric setup in the backend.
* Monitor the environment and take necessary actions to maintain optimal performance.
* Manage Fabric SKU allocation and optimize resources.

* Project Support:

* Provide support for other Azure/Fabric-related projects within the organization.

Beneficial to have experience with:

* Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong background in data integration and management.
* Expertise in Power BI, including service desk support.
* In-depth knowledge of Azure and Fabric environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Experience with on-prem and cloud-based system integrations, including APIs and data gateways.
* Proficient in PySpark.
* Knowledge of MS Fabric and/or Databricks.
* Familiarity with the Azure portal.
* Practical experience with medallion and Lakehouse architecture.
* Well-structured and organized approach to work.

Preferred Location:

The position is to be based in Gothenburg or Malmö with a requirement to have professional fluency in Swedish & English.
