* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the data strategy, aligning it with business objectives.
* Ensure data governance and security best practices are followed to maintain data integrity and compliance.
* Develop and enforce standards for data quality, consistency, and reliability across the organization.
* Drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes through automation and innovation.
* Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the data engineering roadmap.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience in a senior data engineering role, with a strong background in Azure data services.
* In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
* Expertise in Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
* Solid understanding of big data technologies and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
* Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
