Senior Data Engineer

My customer, which works predominantly in the finance and insurance industry, went through a period of rapid growth and is currently looking to modernize its platforms and use the newest technologies.

They are currently looking for the following:

SENIOR DATA ENGINEER

Responsibilities includes:

* Lead Data Management and Architecture:
* Act as the lead data engineer supporting the firm's next-generation data platform,
* Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines: Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems..
* Data Integration and Storage Solutions:
* Stakeholder Engagement
* Continuous Improvement



Technical skills required:

* Microsoft Azure SQL (PaaS & IaaS), CosmosDB
* Azure Storage Solutions
* Azure DataLake (Gen2)
* Azure Data Factory, Pipelines and Integration Runtimes
* Snowflake Data Warehouse
* Power Apps including Power BI reporting (Desirable)
* Azure Synapse
* Reporting Services, Power BI & Tableau
* SQL, T-SQL and Python Programming
