Role Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building data products using our core data platform, Snowflake, and ML components. These data products are integral to our business, driving applications that help farmers optimize their operations and support sustainability goals within the dairy and meat industries. Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement data transformations to create data products.
* Integrate data from various sources to ensure comprehensive data coverage.
* Implement automated processes to maintain high data quality.
* Develop and deploy SQL/DBT work packages.
* Collaborate effectively with R&D and application developers to meet data needs.
* Document and manage data contracts.

What We're Looking For

* A degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
* 3+ years of experience in using data platforms to build data products.
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with DBT.
* A strong engineering mindset with a deep understanding of how systems fit together.
* Competence in Python.
* Experience with Snowflake and ML ops is a plus.
