Our client is an exciting, forward-thinking business within the world of financial services, having expanded across Europe from their roots in Scandinavia since their founding over 20 years ago. The business began by providing analysis-driven financial advice to a wide range of customers, starting with a single business area in Life & Pensions, before expanding into several other business areas as the company has expanded its network and reach into fields such as insurance, pensions, wealth management, HR and payroll. Our client's workforce includes over 3,000 employees operating across Northern Europe and Spain. With their IT Department centralised in Stockholm, their aim is to expand further across Europe and beyond, with plans already in place to expand into other continents.

Their product allows for any customer, whether personal or corporate, to seek industry-leading, analysis-driven advice on subjects from pension solutions to insurance providers. Their three-point grading scale allows for customers to easily interpret the advice they are given, helping them attain a 95% customer recommendation rate. The same leadership team has run since the company's inception, meaning that the company retains its autonomy and start-up feel despite having grown into a financial powerhouse. Employees are given trust from their first day, with an emphasis on employee freedom and a distinct lack of micro-management! This culture runs from top to bottom throughout the company, fed by the CEO and founder and manifesting at every level of the business.

You'll be working on the development of our client's .NET systems with a focus on the consistent improvement of their operations, so a passion for working with Fintech would be advantageous. Employees are split into two teams - core and edge, both with a heavy focus on green field development. Core teams work on improving the central function of the product, while edge teams work on developing new features, with some maintenance of existing systems. Given that the core focus of development in both teams is in the .NET field, moving between teams is encouraged in order to facilitate meeting with different employees and sharing knowledge and expertise.

You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of .NET development, along with experience in .NET core and C#. Prior work on front-end features such as Angular or React is preferable, while experience with Azure would also be beneficial to your application. Candidates will also be required to complete a short test as part of their application.
