Job Description

IT Software Manager (English, Geneva)

* End client, permanent position
* Location : Geneva, Switzerland
* Language : English, any other language is a plus
* Salary : 150 000 - 160 000 CHF
* Eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss/EU citizen or valid work permit)



Responsibilities

* Guide the team in consistently applying company-approved technology and procedures.
* Cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration, creativity, and ongoing enhancement.
* Strengthen team dynamics through coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
* Equip team members with the resources, knowledge, and environment necessary to deliver top-quality products.
* Define, assess, and refine software development practices, standards, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, including the testing and introduction of new tools and processes.
* Assure the agile delivery approach and encourage the adoption of CI/CD methodologies.
* Take responsibility for ensuring all Identity product projects are completed on time and to a high standard, tracking and reporting on team progress to help them meet their goals.
* Assess project pipelines and identify any potential capacity or capability risks to delivery.
* Collaborate and communicate efficiently with the Senior IT Director overseeing the department.

Profile

* Strong experience in the industry sector.
* You are a senior leader who has successfully managed large teams of over 50 people in relevant roles.
* You are known as an exceptional people manager, capable of leading both hierarchically and functionally.
* You have guided development teams through multiple production releases, overseeing process creation, project management, and release coordination.
* You have worked with multicultural teams.
* You are experienced in Scrum and other agile software development methodologies.
* Former technical IT experience is a big plus.
* Language : English fluent (French/German/Italian a plus)
