Data Engineering

Short Description: We are looking for a mid-to-senior level developer with deep technical knowledge, that is self-led and can become a valuable member of a strong team that is already in place. The development team is small, so each team member plays an important part of on-time delivery for our business partners. The full-time developer should be willing to be proactive and bring their knowledge and experiences to the table. This person will be expected to share ideas and collaborate on complex solutions. Candidates with business analysis and extended manual to automation project experience is preferred.

## Programming and Tools
* Knowledge of Python language
* Knowledge of SQL
* Knowledge of PySpark
* Knowledge of Databricks components
* Knowledge of GitHub (repo)

## Data Management
* Experience with ETL processes
* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star, snowflake schemas)
* Understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH) principles
* Familiarity with the Medallion Architecture

## Cloud and DevOps
* Experience with cloud platforms Azure
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines ADO

## Soft Skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Proactive approach (Bring knowledge and experience to the table. Don't just wait on instructions)
* Self-Led but have a cooperative team mindset
* Agile Experience
* Mid-to-Senior Developer Experience
