Software Engineer - 6 month contract

We are searching for a developer in Oslo with experience in Java to join a project-based assignment!

You will be joining a team of consultants on a project with a customer in the finance industry to contribute towards a large-scale digitalisation process internally

You will be involved in developing new features for applications used for customers in insurance and credit management

Your role can involve:

* Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications and systems
* Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, QA, DevOps) to define software requirements
* Performing code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in development, testing, and production environments
* Writing and maintaining unit tests, integration tests, and participate in automated testing
* Implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs or other integrations with external systems
