We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industry Consultant with deep expertise in construction processes and financial workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, finance, and ERP systems, with the ability to guide clients through complex business processes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance on construction project workflows, from bidding to execution.
* Assist clients in understanding and optimizing processes related to:
* Project estimates and buyout purchase orders.
* Bid presentation processes and change orders.
* Construction labor and payroll, including certified payroll reporting, union functionality, and reciprocity.
* Project management responsibilities, including budget, schedule, and billing oversight.
* Month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
* Conduct business process evaluations and develop process flow maps using tools like Visio.
* Collaborate with clients to identify inefficiencies and recommend strategic improvements.
* Confidently communicate and build trust with industry professionals, establishing credibility quickly.
* Leverage expertise in construction-related ERP systems such as Sage, Viewpoint, and CMiC (D365 training will be provided if needed).
* Maintain independence and self-sufficiency in managing workload and client interactions.
* Effectively challenge and push back on clients when necessary to drive optimal outcomes.
