    I'm looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a well-established organisation in Newcastle (hybrid-working), who truly recognise the value of leveraging their data to better understand their customers and to drive business growth.

    In this role you'll lead a team of Data Engineers in the ongoing development of their cutting-edge Azure Data Platform - working across the end-to-end data lifecycle from architecting data ingestion solutions into their Data Lake, designing robust ETL solutions to integrate various data sources, designing data models for analytics capabilities, through to deploying Logic Apps and Function apps for process automation.

    We're looking for a track-record of leading and managing successful teams, and an ability to champion best-practice and advocate for process improvement wherever possible. You'll be technically hands-on, but will also liaise with stakeholders to ensure solutions are fit-for purpose and prioritise work.

    I am working with a well-known organisation based in Newcastle who are looking for a Lead Azure Data Engineer to join their successful team. You will be joining a business who holds its data at the centre of its decision-making process.     In this role you will be responsible for lead the Data Engineering team with the overall responsible for developing the Azure Data Platform.
