Business Central ERP Developer - $100k - Philadelphia - Remote Flex
Our client is a well-established food distributor who is looking for a technical ERP Analyst to play a key role on development, support, reporting, and improvement projects internally.
In preparation for a future upgrade to Dynamics 365 Business Central, they are in need of an inhouse Systems Analyst who can take ownership of their NAV system, along with other applications, and identify paths for improvement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Gather and write business requirements for assigned business units, diagraming current and future state process.
* Translate business needs into key functional documentation. Create and deliver appropriate training, and communication around discoveries.
* Turn functional specifications into technical specifications and system designs.
* Start the design, coding, testing, releasing the code, in Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.
* Develop recommendations and strategic approaches based on key findings, anticipating, and communicating risks.
* Build and executing test plans of changes and new development including but not limited to creating test scenarios, execution of unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.
* Facilitate discussions around meeting requirements through build, buy or configure decisions.
* For defined initiatives, function as project manager including planning, discovery, development, testing, refinement, and deployment of technical solutions.
* Manage break/fix activities in support of our ERP environment.
What You'll Need:
* 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
* Programming experience. C/AL or AL is a must. Full stack development is a nice to have
* Experience working on Business Central upgrades and implementations preferred, not required
* Understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and distribution processes
* Ability to interface well with users to solve their short and long-term problems
* Experience with BI reporting tools and database management
