The role:

As a Business Central Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in a dedicated Continuous Improvements Team, focusing on enhancing the functionality of Business Central applications rather than performing routine maintenance. You'll work closely with an experienced Product Owner and a team of developers to identify areas for improvement, ensure existing applications run smoothly, and bring innovative solutions to life.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, improve, and optimize AL-coded Business Central applications to meet evolving business needs.
* Analyze existing applications, identify areas for enhancement, and implement scalable solutions.
* Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and development team to understand historical development efforts and build on them effectively.
* Ensure seamless operation of existing applications while modernizing outdated features.
* Stay ahead of technological trends to propose innovative improvements.
* (Optional) Contribute to UI-related tasks if you bring experience with JavaScript.



Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Business Central Developer, with strong proficiency in AL coding.
* A proactive and communicative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
* Experience with application improvement and modernization.
* Familiarity with UI development using JavaScript (a plus, but not essential).
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while driving individual contributions.
* Strong analytical skills to assess existing applications and identify improvement opportunities.
