About the Company:
Our client, a rapidly growing company located in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking an experienced Controller to join their dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations for a company that values innovation and operational efficiency.

Position Overview:
As the Controller, you will oversee all financial functions within the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial transparency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using Microsoft Dynamics to streamline accounting processes and reporting. You will be instrumental in driving financial strategy and supporting executive leadership with valuable insights and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
* Utilize Microsoft Dynamics (D365 or GP) for financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
* Ensure all financial processes and transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
* Manage cash flow, including preparation of forecasts and financial analysis to support decision-making.
* Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
* Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations.
* Assist in the preparation of tax filings, working with external tax advisors as necessary.
* Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
* Continuously improve financial reporting systems and processes using Microsoft Dynamics to drive efficiency.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA Required
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management.
* Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365 or GP) is required.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
