Application Architect

Application / Software Architect - Remote in Canada (Bilingual)

A leading organization in the construction and infrastructure space is looking for an Application Architect to drive the modernization and integration of its IT landscape. This role will focus on strategic architecture planning, consolidating applications, and optimizing Azure-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Architect and streamline the IT ecosystem, reducing complexity and improving scalability.
* Develop and execute an architecture roadmap, mapping applications, lifecycle management, and integration strategies.
* Lead the modernization of data and AI infrastructure, optimizing Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, and PaaS solutions.
* Design cost-effective and standardized solutions to reduce long-term maintenance efforts.
* Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align technology strategy with growth objectives.
* Provide strategic guidance-not hands-on development-on application architecture, data integration, and ERP (D365) alignment.
* Work closely with data and integration teams to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
* Support ongoing HR system integration with D365 and future digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in enterprise or solutions architecture.
* Strong expertise in Azure-based solutions, including Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Synapse, and Fabric.
* Experience with application consolidation and modernization in a Microsoft-heavy environment.
* Background in .NET and PaaS architecture.
* Ability to define technology strategy and build roadmaps-focusing on concepts rather than hands-on development.
* Experience working with multi-business unit organizations and integrating diverse IT ecosystems.
* Bilingual (English & French).
* Location: Remote, flexible
