Data Engineer - Manchester - £50,000

I am looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an award winning financial services company based in Manchester. Due to continued success, this is a brand new role within the business with the overall goal of the role to aid the organisation to become truly data-driven. They are at the beginning of their digital transformation journey and in this role you will take responsibility for the ingestion and transformation of data.

You will work closely with senior leaders in the business to ensure that stakeholders have easy access to the data that they need to make informed decisions that can benefit the overall performance of the organisation. This will become a pivotal role within the tech function as you will take responsibility for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Azure Data Platform.

You will join a business who have created a strong collaborative working culture and holds its people at the centre of everything they do. You will have the opportunity to continue your professional development by completing both internal and external training programmes, including paid fees for exams and certifications.

In this role, you will work from the organisations office in Manchester three times per week. They operate a flexible approach to the working day, with working hours being flexible in line with their core working policies.



To be successful in the role you will have.

* Experience working in a Data Engineer role
* Experience creating ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory
* Strong SQL experience
* Experience working in an Azure cloud environment

* Responsible for successful delivery of ERP projects to clients through organisation, management and monitoring of people, methodologies and technologies throughout the project life cycle.

Data Engineer - £48,000

I am working with a well-known charity who are looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing technology team. You will be joining the team at a point of significant change as they have recently invested in new technologies as they look to modernise their data platform.

In this role you will be responsible for the ingestion and transformation of data utilising a number of the organisations data sources. You will have the opportunity to work on a number of interesting projects, including the organisations upcoming data migration project. Working closely with specialists from the technology team, you will have the opportunity to become an internal SME for all things data!

This is a largely remote opportunity where you would meet with the rest of the team once per month in the London office. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £48,000 depending on experience. There is also an attached benefits packages which includes 25 days annual leave (increasing with years of service), generous pension scheme, opportunity to complete both in-house and external training courses and discounts at various retailers.

To be successful in this role you will have.

* Strong SQL experience
* Mulesoft experience is essential
* Experience extracting, transforming and loading data to/from various sources
* Experience working with CRM systems (ideally salesforce) would be beneficial
