We are looking for a UX designer to join a new product team within an established media company in Oslo!

You will work with the UX of our new streaming application, and closely with both product and engineering to take ownership of the web and apps design

What will your role involve?

User Research:

* Conduct user research through methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
* Analyse user feedback and behavior to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
* Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.

Design:

* Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
* Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

Testing & Evaluation:

* Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
* Analyse and present findings and recommendations to the team.
* Utilise analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of design changes.

Collaboration:

* Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are implemented correctly and to the highest standards.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
* Advocate for the user experience within the organization.

We are looking for you to bring:

* Bachelor's degree in Design, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
* Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
* Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
